Heat Wave Favourites : Tea Cocktails

Cabin Slush Mojito

2 oz. White Rum 

3 oz. Cabin Slush or 3 cabin Slush Ice Cubes

6 or so Mint Leaves 

¼ Fresh Lime Juice

Soda Water

Optional: sugar or sweetener of choice to your liking (I like to mix honey in with my tea before freezing/ cooling)

Place sugar, mint and rum in a glass and muddle or use a cocktail shaker. If using frozen tea, it’s best to muddle/ shake it during this step. Fill the glass with ice, chilled tea (if your tea isn't frozen), top with soda water and fresh lime. Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint.

Cherry Pina Colada

2 oz. Coconut Rum or White Rum

2oz Cold Canned Coconut Milk

4oz Cold Pineapple Juice

8 Cubes of Frozen Okanagan Colada

In a blender, add ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour in glass, garnish with a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry. Feel free to use pina colada mix as a replacement for the coconut cream and pineapple juice.

LOTW Sangria

1oz Fruit Flavoured Vodka (e.g. Raspberry, Blueberry)
4oz Tempranillo Red Wine (or whichever you prefer)
2oz Orange Juice
4oz LOTW Sangria- Chilled

½ tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
Soda Water
Frozen Fruit and/or Ice
Optional: sugar or sweetener of choice to your liking (I like to mix honey in with my tea before cooling)


    In a large wine glass, stir together vodka, wine, chilled tea, orange juice and lemon juice. Add fruit and ice, top with soda water and stir briefly. Taste and stir in sugar if desired. There are so many variations. Try using different liquor or wine until it’s personalized to your taste!
