White Tea

There are so many benefits to your health when you drink nature's medicine! Remember that all tea comes from the same plant so all tea is good!! Each tea type is different because each tea is processed differently. Below I will start by telling you about White & Green Tea, the processing methods and types of white and green tea. Enjoy! 

White Tea - A tea that is picked in the spring, heat is applied to the leaves to stop immediately stop the oxidation process. The flavour is light with peachy tones. White tea is mostly grown in China but other countries are growing some white. The most prized is the White Silver Needle. 

A more affordable option is White Peony, Ba Mu Tan. White peony is still white tea but only the leaves are processed. White silver needle a bud and two leaves is used and the cup is much smoother than Peony but both are a beautiful cup!

Health benefits - White tea is a great antioxidant and is full vitamins and minerals. White tea can help lower blood pressure and cholesterol. It can help protect the heart & build stronger bones. It is great for your skin and can act as an anti-bacterial and antiviral. White tea is low in caffeine and you can enjoy this beautiful tea any time of the day!
