Certified Good for People & the Planet! Sheena Russell founded Made with Local at a farmer's market in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her wild idea? To make THE most delicious, nourishing bars possible using only ingredients she could source from other farmers market vendors and suppliers in her town. Her crazy idea turned out to be a HUGE hit - and Made with Local's bars are still made using many of those same local ingredients today. Every bar is handmade in their Nova Scotia bakery - creating a decadent snack that's incredibly delicious, nourishing and sustainable.
