Chaga scientifically called "Inonotus Obliquus" is a type of mushroom (fungus) that grows on birch trees in the colder climates of the northern hemisphere.
Loaded with minerals, vitamins, phenols, antioxidants and enzymes. It has many beneficial healing properties, immune, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory. These benefits can also include cardio-protective, anti-hyperglycemic and anti-cancer.

Harvesting sustainable means only the larger chunks of Chaga Mushroom is removed. Leaving some behind so that the host tree will continue to live and the Chaga Mushroom will re-grown.
Chaga has an earthy, somewhat bitter flavour similar to coffee.
